LARS MLEKUSCH

"Lars Mlekusch has the rare gift of being able to convey his competent interpretative thinking through a gesture of beautiful, flowing naturalness. A gesture that he has been able to develop over time into an effective conducting technique of refined elegance, always aimed at creating the conditions for even the most difficult technical complexities of a score to become an accomplished aesthetic phenomenon."

Emilio Pomàrico, composer & conductor

Lars Mlekusch is a versatile conductor with a wide repertoire. He is especially renowned for his expertise and deep passion for contemporary music leading to electrifying performances. "A bit of Fluxus and irony as well as plenty of electronic explosive charges with the ensemble PHACE. (…) It was a magnificent evening with the ensemble PHACE under the rousing and precise direction of Lars Mlekusch."
Walter Weidringer, Die Presse (PHACE bei Wien Modern)
